The first New Zealand garden to be shown at the world’s largest and most famous flower show was awarded a gold medal – the first time a team had achieved this on their first attempt. Brought back from London and reassembled at The Ellerslie Flower Show, it was awarded the ‘Supreme Award for International Achievement’. Now a permanent exhibit at the Taupo Museum and Art Gallery, ‘Ora’ was named one of the New Zealand Garden Trust’s prestigious ‘Gardens of National Significance’ in 2008.
